IDI Qualifying Seminar - IDI Qualifying Seminars are available for individuals to be trained and licensed as IDI Qualified Administrators to use the Intercultural Development Inventory. The IDI QS is presented by an experienced, licensed IDI Qualified Administrator in three sessions (4.5 hours each) across three days (one session per day).
IDI Validation Research - The Intercultural Development Inventory®, or IDI®, is a widely-used assessment of intercultural competence, with over 60 published articles and chapters and over 66 Ph.D. dissertations. The IDI has been rigorously tested and found to possess high cross-cultural validity and reliability. As a result, validity of the IDI is established not through “face” validity, but, rather, far more rigorous psychometric criteria.

The Intercultural Development Inventory is now available to be completed in Canadian French! As with all languages available for the IDI, this has been rigorously back-translated to ensure a consistent experience for each respondent and that consistently accurate data is collected.

Respondents who wish to complete the IDI Assessment using Canadian French can, after logging in using an IDI Login Code, select French (Canada) from the language selection page (as displayed below). Once they confirm their selection, the instructions, questions, responses, and site navigation will be displayed in the selected language.
