Our People: Phyllis Braxton

Phyllis Braxton is an IDI Qualified Administrator and instructor for the IDI Qualifying Seminar. She is also President and Founder of PINK Consulting, LLC (started in 2006) and has been in the D&I field for nearly 20 years. Phyllis is a native of Moss Point, Mississippi, and currently resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Phyllis was an adjunct professor teaching graduate level courses in diversity and received her Master’s degree at the University of Minnesota. She is a training team member of the Blandin Foundation’s Leading in Ethnically Diverse Communities. Phyllis recently graduated from St. Catherine’s University/University of St. Thomas Masters of Clinical Social Work Program and is now a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW). She’s currently a clinical therapist with Jasira Family Counseling in Brooklyn Center. Phyllis’ mission is to serve and support women and girls of color with trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment, programs, and resources.
