Nehrwr Abdul-Wahid is an IDI Qualified Administrator and an IDI Qualifying Seminar Instructor. Nehrwr worked as Training Coordinator of the University of Minnesota’s Diversity Institute for over 12 years. Since 2003, Nehrwr has built a network of IDI Qualified Administrators that work on projects that span the globe. Nehrwr is a resident trainer with the Blandin Foundation of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, where he designs and implements leadership programs for rural community leaders. With an undergraduate degree in Math and a chapter degree in the National FFA Organization (Future Farmers of America) and a published author (The PIOOYA Principles), Nehrwr draws from disciplines beyond traditional interculturally-focused areas to help craft the best possible solutions for his clients. Nehrwr was born in Washington, D.C., and raised in the Roseland community on Chicago’s South Side. He has called Minnesota home for over 20 years. Nehrwr was the recipient of the 2014 IDI Intercultural Competence Award.

- IDI Qualifying Seminar - Online IDI Qualifying Seminars are available for individuals to be trained and licensed as IDI Qualified Administrators to use the Intercultural Development Inventory. The Online IDI QS will be presented by an experienced, licensed IDI Qualified Administrator in three sessions (4.5 hours each) across three days (one session per day). - IDI Validation Research - The Intercultural Development Inventory®, or IDI®, is a widely-used assessment of intercultural competence, with over 60 published articles and chapters and over 66 Ph.D. dissertations. The IDI has been rigorously tested and found to possess high cross-cultural validity and reliability. As a result, validity of the IDI is established not through “face” validity, but, rather, far more rigorous psychometric criteria.
