Jane is an IDI Qualified Administrator and an IDI Qualifying Seminar Instructor. Her expertise is in helping organizations leverage culture and diversity to drive business growth & innovation. A trusted coach for 20 + years to Fortune 500 companies, she is an internationally recognized expert in inclusive leadership, effective onboarding, and talent engagement. Her Culturally Fluent Leader® programs employ the IDI® along with other tools/assessments to help leadership teams sharpen their cultural lens in business strategy and relationships.  

Jane’s insights appear on CNN, CNBC, Harvard Business Review, Fast Company, Wall Street Journal and Atlantic on the topics of culture, leadership, and career management. Her book, Breaking the Bamboo Ceiling, opened a critical dialogue for a culturally grounded career development approach. She is the co-author of Flex: The New Playbook for Managing Across Differences which examines the art of switching between management styles to leverage the power of diversity in teams. Jane is the recipient of the Marshall Goldsmith 50 Leading Global Coaches Award for Cultural Fluency. A graduate of Cornell University with a degree in Economics & International Studies, before founding Hyun & Associates, Jane held executive roles in HR/Talent & Operations at JPMorgan and as Director of Recruiting at Deloitte.
