Scott Peterson

Scott holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership, is a certified coach, and has more than 30 years of experience working with teams in executive leadership roles across urban, suburban, and rural communities. He is the Founder and Lead Consultant of SMP Leadership, which supports individuals and teams through coaching and learning experiences. He is energized by helping clients build capacity through growth in cultural agility, self-awareness, and systems awareness. He supports leaders in shifting their mental models about themselves and others to better align with their goals, moving from where they are to where they want to be.

Scott also enjoys supporting teams by integrating insights from CliftonStrengths and Working Genius assessments as complementary tools to help them develop greater intercultural competence. His strengths enable him to see systems, people, and possibilities in dynamic ways, helping the organizations and leaders he serves grow with strength, meaning, and purpose. Scott can deliver learning experiences and coaching both in person and virtually.
