Rhonda Mower is an enthusiastic collaborator with heroes, sheroes and theyroes committed co-creating a world of greater justice and hope for all.  

She serves as SVP of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at the National Office of Volunteers of America – a national nonprofit with national headquarters in the Washington DC area.  A life-long learner, she is an IDI Certified Administrator as well as a Certified Diversity Executive (CDE), Certified Professional Diversity Coach (CPDC) and she has multiple HR certifications. Rhonda has also earned a Master of Science in Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness, a certificate in Strategies for Trauma Awareness and Resilience (S.T.A.R.) multi-cultural training and a certificate in Executive Leadership.  She is in the process of becoming a certified mediator.

For over 15 years she has worked with nonprofit and corporate leaders and their teams to co-create high performance cultures that drive success and attract, retain and develop top talent.  Active in the community, she serves on the Board of Directors for Change Machine and she is a member of The Society for Diversity, and the Society for Human Resource Management.  Previously, she served as President of the DC Human Resources Leadership Forum, an Advisor to the Board of NOVA SHRM and a pattern-changing Coach for survivors of domestic violence for ACTS/Turning Points.
   
A sought-after expert, she speaks on inclusion and belonging, employee wellness as well as advancing innovation and DEI in multi-site, complex organizations.
