Julia Van Der Werf is an intercultural leadership coach, administrative strategist, and advocate for belonging. She founded Rooted Mosaic to help individuals and organizations become deeply rooted in who they are while being planted in diversity.
With more than two decades of experience across schools, nonprofits, and faith-based organizations, Julia blends systems thinking with relational insight. Her background in administration and operations allows her to bring structure and clarity to complex environments, while her coaching and advocacy work help people engage identity, culture, and difference with courage and care.
Guided by curiosity, conviction, and compassion, Julia works to build spaces where truth and belonging can coexist—where people and systems align around equity, dignity, and shared growth.
