Deborah (Deb) Breiting is a group facilitator and intercultural coach with over 25 years of experience supporting life long learners. Her specialty is to create inclusive, culturally responsive learning environments, with focus on multilingual speakers from diverse international backgrounds. Grounded in transformative learning and critical reflection, Deb helps leaders in various sectors navigate the complexities of language, identity, and cross-cultural communication.
Deb holds a Master’s in Adult and Higher Education from the University of Southern Maine, a Certificate in Intercultural Studies, and a B.A. in Linguistics and German from the University of British Columbia. She is a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI®), a certified trainer with the National Coalition Building Institute (NCBI), and recently completed the 15-hour Sustained Dialogue Moderator Skill Series (June 2025), a five-stage dialogue to action process for building relationships and creating community change from The Sustained Dialogue Institute.
