Nikolasa Tejero is associate dean and professor in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she also directs the Arts & Sciences Residential College. Dr. Tejero approaches her leadership with an IDI-informed perspective, focusing on how students grow when intercultural learning is intentional and developmentally supported. She also mentors faculty and staff in fostering intercultural growth in their work. Her teaching focuses on Latin American culture, and she often leads student groups to Mexico, curating experiences that help students engage across cultural differences with curiosity and confidence.
