I have more than thirty years’ experience teaching and administering academic English at the university level in the U.S., Japan, and the Middle East. My graduate training in applied linguistics included coursework in intercultural communication, and I have served as Qualified Administrator of the IDI since 2018, providing individual and group results to students and staff at the University of Michigan. These conversations have been some of the most rewarding in my professional career, and this experience has enabled me to continue my own intercultural development!
