About

The vision of Michigan Department of Civil Rights is to eliminate discrimination and promote equity through engagement, education, and enforcement. To be the voice of civil rights in Michigan. Development, Innovation, and Access (DIA) is a division within MDCR focused on preventing unlawful discrimination and building inclusive practices through education, engagement, and culturally informed approaches. DIA offers training on topics such as cultural competence and implicit bias to organizations, businesses, and community groups within Michigan. Members of DIA are also qualified to administer the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) and can provide coaching as part of the process.
