About

Dr. Willow Anderson is an intercultural communication scholar who is the Principal Consultant and Founder of Social Fabric Institute Inc. SFI partners with organizations and communities to weave equity and belonging into the fabric of their work, helping them move forward with integrity and confidence focused on meaningful - and measurable - transformation. Universities, government agencies, non-profit organizations, and municipalities in particular seek out the insights that SFI can offer through assessments, culture audits, training, research, and coaching. Willow’s approach is grounded in both research and practice, with a focus on helping organizations reflect on and identify existing strengths and potential areas of growth, and implement meaningful, context-responsive change. Willow received awards for her research, mentoring, and teaching excellence during her doctoral studies and since finishing her PhD has applied those same skills and knowledge to the development and delivery of EDIA-related training and facilitation. Nearly 1000 participants have attended these sessions, in numerous sectors and formats, across Canada.
