How Consultants Use the IDI®
Thousands of consultants have chosen the Intercultural Development Inventory to help their clients assess the environment in which they are engaging with diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice issues. The IDI helps individual, groups, and organizations better understand their strengths and challenges related to engaging across cultural differences.
Who Should Get Licensed?
Anyone who wished to help their clients better understand their intercultural capacity can use the IDI. Other than completion of the IDI Qualifying Seminar there are not prerequisites to using the IDI.
What Can I Do with an IDI Qualified Administrator License?
At the completion of the IDI Qualifying Seminar you will be licensed to purchase and administer the IDI assessment, and share Individual and Group results with your clients. IDI results will help you better understand the intercultural capacity of your clients and assist you in offering organization-wide, team, and individual recommendations.
Why Should I Get Licensed as an IDI Qualified Administrator?
Many organizations have goals related to diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice. Unfortunately, the activities designed to move these goals forward often do not meet the participants where they are at in their intercultural journey. The IDI allows you to assess individuals and teams and provides data to help organizations better shape their DEIJ initiatives to include developmentally appropriate strategies and interventions.
Is Coaching Related to Use of the IDI?
IDI Qualified Administrators are not required to be trained in coaching in order to utilize the IDI. However, you can use coaching in conjunction with the IDI assessment.
